As you have heard here in our blog before, our unfinished white cedar is a great option if you want to finish it in the stain or paint color of your choice! Our coffee tables are perfect for your living room space with a smooth top and a shelf underneath for storage opportunities. We also offer this coffee table in a torhced cedar and a rustic pine.  It adds just the right rustic touch to your home or cabin.

We love our easy-to-follow assembly.  Our beds are made with mortise and tenon construction. This type of joinery typically connects pieces of wood that come together at a right angle and is both strong and simple!  The tenons are pounded into the pre-drilled holes with a rubber mallet until the bed is fully assembled.  We then include screws to be inserted at an angle through the connections to reinforce the strength.  Our dressers come with their drawers fully assmelbed, and our mirrors and one-drawer nightstand come ready to go when taken out of the box.  We are always happy to send over assembly instructions in advance for our customers to see what the work entails as well. 

Our rustic pine is known for its distinctive knots and variations.  It adds a beautiful touch of true rustic look to you home or log cabin.  We offer our mirros in two different sizes: 42x36 and 35x29.  These log frames come with the actual mirror as well as a hanger so that when you recieve them they are ready to use!  We also sell our larger mirrors in a set with the 6-drawer dress for easy mounting to create a vanity for your bedroom.  The mirrors have beautiful rounded sides and pointed corners and are ready for be hung in your home!

That crack in your wood can be a very natural process called checking.  Checking is a natural process caused by tension in the outer ring of the wood as the outer shell dries quicker than the inner core of the wood.  Checking does not affect the integrity or strength of the wood and instead just adds character and an even more rustic appearance.

Our rustic pine is a great choice for your bunk bed.  Pine is naturally shock resistant and has great durability and strength.  The bunk beds are mortise and tenon construction which is sturdy and also easy to put together. They come with a ledge to be used with support of your choice.  Many poeple use bunky boards or plywood for their support.  We have various different sizes available as well including a queen over queen bunk bed which is typically hard to find.  We also offer mutli-size bunk beds.  Bunks are a great choice for extra sleeping room in a cabin or home, and these would create just the rustic look you need!

There are so many styles and types of furntiure out there, so how do you choose what to buy?  There are many reasons that log and rustic furniture is the way to go.  This type of furniture is truly an investment because it lasts for decades.  It is what we like to call "kid resistant" because it is so sturdy and durable.
